Job Description

The Amazon Ring Team is looking for a smart, results-oriented and data-driven Program Manager to support Ring B2B Deduction Management and Decision Support. In this role you must be able to build a relationship with Sales, Finance, IT and Operation teams, clearly communicate expectations, understand each retailer's unique environment and then work with them to drive improvements in deduction management and pricing support. You must also be able to identify inefficiencies in Ring/Amazon's systems that introduce unnecessary delays in the Order to Cash process and work towards resolution. The successful candidate will be able to effectively prioritize and multi-task while managing many parallel lead-time improvement discussions across multiple vendors simultaneously. The role will focus on driving projects for new sales pricing/planning, master data set up along with continuous improvement for auditing Real Time deduction data.

As a member of the team, you will own supporting key retailer accounts and 3P distributors. You must demonstrate a strong, metrics driven approach to track all issues, actions and resulting improvements and strong facilitation skills are required to drive the learning's from customer and sales team interactions into various finance and IT teams to systematically remove road-blocks.

Responsibilities

  • Create internal deduction dashboards for Sales, Operations and Finance Teams
  • Work with Accounting and Finance to accurately accrue and forecast monthly deductions
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable team to audit deductions real time
  • Streamline existing promotion calendar process and general pricing communication to third parties
  • Review and help maintain master data set up in Ring's ERP NetSuite environment (new SKU's, bundles, etc.) for finished goods
  • Review retailer contracts/amendments as necessary and make recommendations where appropriate

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in any complex project/program management experience
  • Heavy experience using various ERP systems and maintaining large amounts of master data
  • Experience in program administration skills - this includes organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results
  • Experience in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or MBA in a related discipline.
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Aptitude for technology, able to learn new tools quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to be a big picture thinker, strategist, and long term planner
  • Demonstrated experience and success at leading cross functional programs and proven ability to influence and lead without direct management authority
  • Outstanding speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a multitude of platforms with remote team members, as well as stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to synthesize data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives and goals
  • Goal driven and target orientated whilst able to step back and look at the bigger picture. Proven ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
  • Intuitive understanding of a superior versus inferior customer experiences, with ability to quickly assess the situation and identify solutions to improve/fix
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices
