The Data Processing Associate works as part of a team to support the Helpdesk, and Troubleshoot hardware and software for facility computers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Batch processing (WMS).

Print order-filling labels.

Update existing batch database.

Print report retaining to batch processing.

Maintain batch printer.

WMS User ID setups, add, modify & delete users.

Troubleshoot all software and hardware with available tools.

Develop and maintain new database.

Communicate all problems with Wal-Mart home office.

Create and troubleshoot database.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

6 months of Windows XP operating system experience (Installations & Configurations).

MS Word, Excel, Access & Outlook

Basic knowledge of Network infrastructure (Components)

Basic knowledge of hardware components.Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization. Help desk involves communications between users and the helpdesk. He or she must be able to communicate to users in a clear manner with little confusion as possible.

Capable of handling multiple tasks at once; will be required to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Individual must poses the strong ability to prioritize workloads accordingly.

Demonstrated ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands.

Results oriented

Ability to read, comprehend and carries out instructions from oral instructions or written correspondence.

Troubleshooting-candidate should be able to diagnose the issue, gather pertinent date, resolve if possible and or escalate the issue if needed with little or no supervision.
