The .NET Junior Developer works within the MS Dynamics CRM team to support and enhance the MS Dynamics CRM system.

This role will work with IT Support and other departments to quickly troubleshoot and resolve software issues involving out-of-the-box, functionality, custom features and integrations with MS Dynamics CRM. In addition, this role will participate in analysing, developing and deploying enhancement requests from the CRM team's backlog.

Serves as a software developer focusing on MS Dynamics 365 for Sales.

Ensures optimum user experience by diagnosing and resolving problems within existing features.

Develops solutions that include enhancements, integrations with custom and 3rd-party software, custom workflows and reports and dashboards.

Participates in analysis, designing, coding, testing and implementation of new functionality.

Contributes to development planning by providing reasonable, reliable time estimates.

Defines system objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

Confirms that written code is tested thoroughly against user's requirements or bug report.

Coordinates User Acceptance Testing with department representatives.

Maintains the code base by committing changes to source control.

Produces clear, concise documentation on all work completed to support future enhancement and troubleshooting.

Supports users by developing documentation and/or training when needed.

Identifies and logs opportunities to improve the system beyond the given requirements.

Analyzes present systems and procedures, recommends changes or improvements.

Updates job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Key Competencies & Attributes:

1. College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent technical degree

2. At least 1 year of application development experience (ideally in Microsoft Dynamics)

3. Experience with HTML, CSS, C#, .NET, MS SQL and JavaScript

4. Ability to identify gained efficiencies through development that cuts down on manual operations

5. Ability to manage time and deal with multiple priorities without close supervision

6. Ability to work independently and with a team

7. Demonstrated ability to partner with internal and external customers

8. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
