Network Security Engineer - 12 Months - Luxembourg - Hybrid

My client is a highly established and reputable company in Germany, known for our innovative solutions and commitment to excellence in the industry. They are currently on the hunt to hire a skilled Network Security Engineer for an initial 12 month contract.

• Duration: 12 months (scope for extension)
• Location: Luxembourg - Hybrid
• Daily Rate: 600 - 700 per day

Job Description: As a Network Security Engineer, you will be an integral part of their team, working on both operations and project-based tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure, managing security devices, and implementing robust security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Work on both operational tasks and long-term projects to enhance network security.
• Configure and maintain security devices, including Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security aligns with business goals.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with network technologies such as Cisco and Juniper.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate or other security vendors like Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco.
• Experience with configuring and managing Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Relevant certifications (eg, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE) are a plus.
