We are seeking a Technical Trainer to join our clients technology team. You will act as SME for internal tools, developing and delivering training programs and simplifying complexities. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Learning & Development team to enhance training initiatives, focusing on the continuous improvement of training methods and materials to support organizational learning and development goals.

Our client is a Tech company based in Hertfordshire (accessible via Metropolitan line - 3 days per week in the office). With a focus on creating efficient workplace solutions, the company has developed a robust reputation in the market and is constantly seeking to expand its team with skilled professionals.

Description

  • Design and develop training materials, including manuals, E-learning modules, and hands-on workshops tailored to various audience levels.
  • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for internal staff and external stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of our tools, best practices, processes, and product offerings.
  • Providing in-depth knowledge of business process and reporting requirements to support workshop discussions, user story development, and business decision-making.
  • Engaging and supporting colleagues with readiness for new ways of working, including training, documentation, and guidance.
  • Stay updated with new product releases and feature updates, creating and delivering training sessions to communicate these changes effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for implementing more efficient processes and systems across our teams and collaborating with key people in different functions to realize their implementation.
  • Work closely with product development, customer support, and other relevant teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to internal teams and external partners, addressing their questions and facilitating their learning process.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for our internal tools, maintaining an in-depth understanding of their functionalities and applications.
  • Define procedures, standards, and best practices for the use of our internal tools
  • Create dashboards, reports, permission sets, automation, and custom workflows.
  • Help ensure data is accurate, up to date, and tracking.
  • Act as the "go-to" person within a department or function for questions and problems on the project tracking tool. Not only answer how things are done, but why.
  • Overall setup and responsibility for setting up the project tracking process within JIRA and ClickUp

Profile

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a technical trainer, preferably with expertise in internal tools and software.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in training and instructional design.
  • Proven background in breaking down complex problems and presenting data-informed solutions.
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing technical course content
  • Ability to address training needs with complete courses
  • Highly driven self-starter and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and levels of technical proficiency.
  • Strong prioritization skills - structured, clear thinker and can break your ideas down into digestible blocks.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn and understand new tools and technologies.
  • Quick learner and when necessary, can self-educate on complex topics.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of circa £40,000 - 45,000 per year.
