Senior Data Analyst (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £500-600/day (umbrella)
 

Data Analyst
3 month rolling contract
£500-600/day (umbrella)
Remote friendly/London/Glasgow/Liverpool

* Contribute to the data side of change initiatives, providing insight and recommendations with respect to the data that underpins change.
* Analyse data using statistical techniques and communicate findings effectively
* Examine complex data to optimise the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, collaborate with the change delivery colleagues to improve systems and database designs
* Identify initiatives to improve data handling/wrangling techniques across the organisation
* Summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format.

Essential:
* A proven track record of working with large data sets, transforming and analysing them to derive data-led insight, presentation of findings and recommendations.
* Excellent practical knowledge of T-SQL and relational database concepts
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience to influence executive level stakeholders
* Problem-solving and analytical skills to develop an understanding of how our organisation works
* Excellent management and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication

Desirable:
* Experience in financial services, particularly wealth and asset management
* Experience of Agile project delivery
* Excellent Knowledge of Python/R and Statistics.
