Solutions Architect, Dynamics 365, Office365, Power Platform Apps

Location: Remote/London (1/2 days a week)

We are seeking a high performing Solution Architect with ability to create solution design documents as a key member of the design team. The person appointed will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions in accordance with our client's design standards. The role will involve working with Product, Change, IT teams and 3rd party vendors.

Main Duties

• The Design team comprises of SA's across Projects and BAU and the role is to provide Architecture services across business domains from establishing project requirements and goals to solution go-live .

• Produce the creation and maintenance of design documents in the needs by System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as meeting the requirements Dynamics 365 and working with CSP and MSP.

• Provide oversight and technical assurance of the Dynamics 365 delivered by 3rd Party vendors; ensure it conforms our client's solution requirements, enterprise architecture principles, security standards and functional/non-functional requirements.

• Design and deliver high quality solutions to deliver our clients platforms including but not limited to other specific domains.

• Ability to conduct and lead analyses of technology and associated operational processes, with a view to recommending both high-level and low-level infrastructure designs and strategies that will improve the service, lower costs, and prevent unforeseen operational issues

• Partner with a diverse range of colleagues and management to understand and solve complex problems, in a comprehensible manner.

• Ensure technical specifications are delivering to business requirements through stakeholder facilitation, document review and management of in-house and supplier resources and adhere to our clients policies and technical constraints.

• Demonstrable expert experience in the design, implementation, and operation of solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment

• Define design artifacts for all cloud workloads and solutions for Dynamics 365.

Knowledge & Experience

• Extensive experience with designing applications and integrations of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps
• Possess a deep technical understanding of Dynamics 365 and supporting Microsoft technologies to clearly articulate features and benefits to senior management and/or colleagues alike in a non-techy way.
• Ability to propose changes to existing standards and strategies or introduce new approaches to meet the needs of new and emerging technologies
• Experience working with 3rd party partners.
• Functional experience of using Dynamics 365 Sales
• Completed relevant training paths and certifications in Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Able to help find the right configuration of services from Microsoft and third-party providers to suit the CRM needs of the organisation. Experience of integrating D365 with apps outside the Microsoft ecosystem is desirable.
• Hold a deep understanding of industry-standard business practices supported by CRM technologies.
• Able to match requirements of cross-system processes against the goals of a project and the business.
• Integration skills - knowledge of how to integrate Dynamics 365 apps with each other and with external systems. Familiarity required with different integration patterns and an ability to choose the best one for a given scenario.
• Working knowledge of M365/Office 365 platform and an understanding of where it is applicable to extending the reach and use of CRM.
• Familiarity with dev ops practices and technologies for the delivery of continuous improvements to a CRM platform. eg pipelines, code branching, cloud storage, and release management.
• Able to advise and identify training and skill needs for successful adoption of Dynamics 365 functionality.
• Experience serving as an application/solutions architect, pre-sales architect or functional lead.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or hold equivalent experience
• Technology certifications (Azure Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 F&O Apps Architect Expert, ITIL). Desirable
• Completed relevant training paths and certifications in Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong written skills to produce professional technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Architectures (Private, Public and Hybrid).
