Cloud Specialist (AWS/Azure) (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £550 - £640 per day
 

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Cloud Operations Specialist, a six month contract role.

  • Inside of IR35
  • Fully remote (must be working from the UK).
  • Daily rate of £550 - £640 a day depending on experience

Working in a small team, acting as the Technical SME, partnering with internal technology teams (Networks and Security) and managing our client's vendors as well licensing products. You will also be hands on - involved in BAU and project work (migrations, decommissioning platforms, analysis).

Technical Skills required: Azure and AWS (understanding how they connect), M365, Azure AD, D365, Oracle RDS, Workspaces, Guard Duty, Sentinel. A Strong Cloud and Networking/Infrastructure background is desired.

The job

  • Work closely IT Partners to deliver and support services across Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Identify and provide prioritisation and guidance on operational improvements to IT services, working with our IT vendors and key partners to deliver these improvements.
  • Act as a central technical resource to manage BAU service improvements and service integrations, working closely with vendors, solution owners and projects.
