Apigee Solution Architect - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - London (Hybrid)

Hamilton Barnes is representing a leading British multinational retailer company who are looking to hire an Apigee Solution Architect to take control of the migration project between Apigee Edge to Apigee X.

Join our client's team as an Apigee Architect on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and migration of our platform version from Apigee Edge to Apigee X, while also accelerating migration and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions for application modernization using API-fication and microservices techniques.
  • Provide expert guidance and documentation on the governance of the Apigee Lifecycle.
  • Solutioning on cloud migration of applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Actively participate in the architecture and design discussions, contributing innovative ideas and best practices.

Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in Apigee Edge and Apigee X.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Design Frameworks for scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Build for automated builds and deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for Scripting and automation tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: London - 2 Days onsite
  • Day Rate: Up to £675-700 Per Day (Inside IR35)
  • Start Date: ASAP
