OMS Solution Architect for upcoming project, based UK & NL. Leading software solution provider working in online retail, B2C/D2C Consumer products, fashion and technology. You will be providing architectural direction, assisting tech leads in solving high level architecture issues, and be involved in advising clients, as well as shaping and estimating new work within existing accounts.

Technical Knowledge

• Fluent Commerce or relevant Order Management System, Supply chain products experience
• Composable Architecture
• Cloud Architecture (AWS or GCP pref)
• Serverless and Containerized K8 deployments
• RESTful API services and GraphQL APIs
• Event Driven Architecture
• Message brokers, Event Streaming, JMS
• CI/CD Pipelines based on GitHub Pipeline, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipelines

About you

• Experience as a Solution architect, architectural advisory within an E-commerce environment
• Deep knowledge of best practices in developing for the web
• Excellent Client communication and relationship building skills
• 7 or more years of experience making significant contributions developing software in a highly challenging technical enterprise environment
• Experience in building and architecting large software engineering efforts
• Experience in or enthusiasm for providing expertise on optimization, networks, database architecture, performance testing or application frameworks
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile project methodologies to manage successful projects
• Ability to communicate effectively across a range of industries with diverse technologies
• A track record of mentoring software engineers and helping other people grow
