Fullstack Engineer - React & Java

Rate: £700 inside IR35 (Umbrella engagement)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer with expertise in React and Java to join our team. As a React/Java Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing high-performance services and architectures to drive our digital initiatives forward. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our technical roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the design and development of large-scale high-performance services, microservices, and event-driven architectures using React, Java (11+), Spring Boot, NodeJS, and AWS.
• Contribute to the product technical roadmap and utilise cloud serverless technologies on AWS.
• Lead the design and support of services and internal frameworks to enhance our capabilities, ensuring engineering excellence throughout the product life cycle.
• Consider cost and service support implications in engineering decisions, striving for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ReactJS, Java/Spring Boot, SQL and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and experience in software design and implementation.
• Knowledge of security best practices, infrastructure as code, and relevant hardware.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, as well as Agile software development methodologies.
