Hardware Technician, SC Cleared, Build, Repair/Fix, 2 months +, London, ASAP, £Good

Our client, who are based in London, require a Build/Repair Engineer to join the team to support devices coming into the business, to be reviewed for working purposes, repair as best as possible, then provide back to the client so they can store back into their inventory stock for future use. To be considered for this role, you will need to have current/in date Security Clearance. The role is expected to be for a couple of months on a full time basis, requiring you to be onsite support for 5 days per week, however there is an opportunity the contract will also be extended.

The Role:

  • Inspect and fix outdated laptops that have been received at the office from users and are in need of resolution, they will then be put into stock for future utilization as inventory.

The Person:

  • Proven experience in Desktop Support, mainly focusing on hardware builds and troubleshooting repairs.
  • You should also possess the required tools, such as screwdrivers, for repairing devices.
  • The client will provide the replacement hardware, but would require the successful candidate to carry the necessary tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • SC Cleared is Mandatory
