Gibbs Hybrid are on the search for an experienced QA Engineer with an active SC clearance that is able to work 5 days per week onsite in either Leicester or Hampshire. Without an active SC clearance, you will not be considered for this contract.

Day Rate: £365 per day (inside IR35)
Location: Either Leicester or Hampshire, 5 days per week onsite Dependent on your location (this is mandatory).
Length of contract: 6-12 months initial contract

Job Title: QA Engineer (Active SC Clearance) Government Client

Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join a world leading IT services contractor for a project with a government client. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of identity verification workflows and authentication processes. This role requires expertise in creating and executing test automation for identity verification and authentication systems, with a focus on Back End web services. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing appropriate input test messages and expected outputs for a variety of scenarios, as well as automating the creation of these inputs to expedite delivery. Testing will encompass both functional and non-functional aspects, including performance and operability.

Required Skills:
* This role requires an Active SC Clearance.
* Experience in creating and executing test automation for identity verification and authentication workflows
* Proficiency in testing Back End web services, as the system does not have a UI
* Ability to construct appropriate input test messages and expected outputs for a wide range of scenarios
* Strong skills in automating the creation of test inputs to accelerate delivery
* Familiarity with functional and non-functional testing, including performance and operability aspects

Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Proficiency in automation and Scripting
* Experience with test technologies such as SOAP-UI, JMeter, Jira, and Zephyr
* Knowledge of XML and SOAP Web Services
