Hamilton Barnes is representing one of the leading retailers in the UK through a large-scale consultancy, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions, they are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a specialization in Elastic Search to join their team for a 6-month contract.

Hands-on experience with Elastic Search is a MUST..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize proficiency in Java to develop robust and scalable applications, adhering to core principles.
  • Implement and integrate Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts, with particular emphasis on Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for microservices development.
  • Leverage expertise in Elastic Search to enhance search functionalities and optimize performance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra, contributing to data management solutions.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity.

Skills/Experience:

  • Prior experience with Elastic Search is a MUST
  • Proficiency in Java with a deep understanding of core principles.
  • Experience with Java frameworks, particularly Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: London/Hybrid - 2 Days
  • Day Rate: Up to £500 Per Day (Inside IR35)
  • Start Date: ASAP
