Software Engineer - Java (Permanent)
Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £55k - £65k per annum
Mid- Level- Java Developer - Bristol - Hybrid - up to £65,000 p/a - yearly bonus.
Due to recent massive successes taking on a number of external clients, one of my favourite Product based companies is now looking to take on additional Java Software Engineers to deal with growing demand.
The current teams are made up of over 60 engineers which are split out into agile teams where you will be put onto one of 3 key financial products based on your ability and what you bring to the business.
Day to day you will be maintaining existing code as well as delivering out a number of new exciting greenfield projects.
You'll work together in a highly collaborative and inclusive culture with key aspects of the role including paired programming, meet up sessions and adapting code bases depending on customer feedback.

Rather than looking for polished engineers, they would rather people have gaps where they know they can improve and they'll teach them and show them the way.
Within the business, ideally they would like to see Java Developers, who have previously worked around 70% on the Backend with 30% on the Frontend. With the idea behind being that they encourage maximum collaboration between teams due to a number of websites they host. A minimum of 4 years commercial experience is required for the role and ideally you would be either a mid level developer who is looking to grow into a senior position or a senior developer who can hit the ground running.
