Lead Network Architect

Location: UK Remote (with travel to Farnborough)

Salary: Up to £100k + benefits

We are working with a global technology business who are hiring a Lead Network Architect to join their team. You will be leading the Networking team as well as having hands on design and implementation of Network architecture.

The role can be worked remotely with occasional travel to Farnborough and will also involve occasional travel to Europe and the US.

The business builds a number of products used by consumers across the globe and the network infrastructure and architecture is key to its continued success.

This could be an exceptional opportunity for someone who is and experienced Lead Architect or is looking to make the next step in their career, moving into a leadership position and remaining hands-on. whilst also defining strategy and architecture.

The business are looking for individuals with experience in;

• Design, Architecture & Deployment of Networks.
• Sourcing and vendor negotiations and management.
• Experience of defining Physical and Cloud Networks.
• Ideally managing - Extreme Switches, Fortinet and performance.
• Knowledge of AWS, VMWare, K8S and EKS would be beneficial.
