Business Analyst (Permanent)

Location: Telford Country: UK Rate: GBP 60K per annum
 

Business Analyst

  • Researching and analysing how a business works, including its people, organization, processes, information, data, and technology
  • Identifying and elaborating user and business needs to enable effective design, development, and testing of services and business change
  • Making decisions related to prioritization and minimum viable product by using analysis-led insights
  • Working with customers to capture requirements, including participation in workshops or interviews and documenting requirements using approved templates
  • Creating reports and process maps to document current and proposed working practices
  • Designing surveys and questionnaires to establish quantitative process information
  • Explaining business concepts to a technical audience and technical concepts to a business audience

A Business Analyst should have the following skills:

  • Assess and define workloads and specify appropriate resources to undertake activities
  • Organize, measure, and monitor performance
  • Communicate and present complex details in a format that is understood by all
  • Draw inferences from process details and link these to the big picture by considering business objectives when identifying process improvements
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to find out how they can be improved or automated
