Delphi Developer - £60,000-£65,000 - Homebased

We are seeking a talented and experienced Back End Delphi Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust Back End systems and applications using Delphi. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Back End systems and applications using Delphi programming language.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable database structures and queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement new features.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolution to ensure system stability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Back End development using Delphi programming language.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.
• Experience with software testing and debugging techniques.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.

This is a very technical role, so candidates will need to demonstrate this ability at interview stage with an in-depth discussion, so you will need recent and solid experience to fall back on.
