About the Company and the Role:
Auxilion is a leading provider of IT outsourcing and IT managed service solutions for global IT service providers. As part of the Auxilion Group you will work closely with the in-house team to provide the best customer experience that the client requires.
In this role, you will work with a team of developers who will be releasing apps in Development and Production environments. Your role will be releasing the apps, ensuring the infrastructure is patched and at the latest releases that will allow the code to be deployed. Middleware administrator must coordinate with Oracle Database Administrators (DBAs), Application Developers, third-party system administrators, and the end-user community.
Position Responsibilities:
- Middleware administrator must coordinate with Oracle Database Administrators (DBAs), Application Developers, third-party system administrators, and the end-user community.
- Installing and patching Installation, configuration and tuning of Middleware, WebLogic & Apache Tomcat environments.
- Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Perform Migrations: Migrate code between test, Quality Assurance (QA) and production environments.
- Perform Tuning: Tuning of Middleware, (Products include OBIEE, BI Publisher, and OEM Cloud Control).
- Develops standards, tuning metrics, and alert thresholds.
- Create Documentation: Develops a complete set of Middleware documentation describing the current onsite configuration
- Conduct pro-active system improvement work where appropriate
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health with automated alerts.
- Interpreting Java stack traces and initiating thread dumps within Tomcat server instances
