Responsibilities:

Design and develop enterprise-wide data strategies and architectures to support data analytics capabilities in a banking and financial services environment.
Evaluate and recommend suitable Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products for data analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analytics requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
Define and document data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Lead a team of data architects and data engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient data analytics solutions.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the data analytics and financial services domains to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Collaborate with other enterprise architects, data scientists, and business analysts to identify and prioritize data analytics projects and initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to project teams in the implementation of data analytics solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards.
Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including data models, diagrams, and documentation, to support ongoing projects and future enhancements.
Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes to identify suitable data analytics tools and platforms.
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the security and privacy of enterprise data assets, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics and provide guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect in a banking and financial services organization.
Extensive experience in data analytics and data modernization/transformation programmes.
Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data modelling, and data integration techniques.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, Hadoop, and SQL.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in data management and data analytics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data analytics projects on time and within budget.
Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman, is preferred but not mandatory.
