Senior/Lead .NET Developer - London (Hybrid) - £275 a day (Inside IR35)

Skills required:

  1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies including Legacy and modern platforms.
  2. Proficient in C# programming language, ASP.NET WebForms, ASP.NET MVC, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF).
  3. Experience with Microsoft .NET Message Queues and writing parsers for XML and XSLT.
  4. Ability to write MS SQL Queries and integrate with SQL databases.
  5. Familiarity with Front End development using Angular and integrating with REST APIs.
  6. Knowledge of Git version control and related tooling.
  7. Experience with Java Messaging Services (JMS) and SOAP Web Services.
  8. Understanding of financial messaging protocols such as ISO 20022 and ISO 15022, including Swift messages.
  9. Familiarity with FIX Onyx protocol.
  10. Experience in containerized deployments using Kubernetes and deployment automation using Chef.
  11. Proficiency in managing automated build pipelines, preferably using TeamCity and Azure DevOps.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and technical constraints, providing technical guidance and consultation.
  2. Work closely with project managers and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Design, implement, and optimize robust and scalable solutions using Microsoft technologies.
  4. Provide hands-on involvement in project delivery, including preparing solution blueprints and providing technical leadership.
  5. Evangelize technology development principles and standards across newly formed teams.
  6. Identify key improvement areas in technology delivery or testing to increase team performance iteratively.
  7. Contribute to the development and integration of various components such as message queues, parsers, and web services.
  8. Leverage domain knowledge in Financial Services, including trading platforms and Swift Payment Gateways.
  9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in development processes.
