Our Client, a top tier bank based in Sheffield is looking to hire a Java Developer to join them. The Trade and Transaction Reporting IT Team (T&TR) is an IT engineering organisation that supports and maintains a portfolio of shared services within MSS. This role sits within the. Regulatory Reporting & Controls Platform (RRCP), a T&TR team who maintain and enhance a suite of Java based services to facilitate trade reporting in a timely manner to our Regulators. The service is primarily built to enable the reporting of GB&M trade information to external regulatory bodies. Jurisdiction scope (ESMA, FCA, MAS, ASIC, JFSA, etc) will change over time depending on business priorities such as the implementation of a new mandatory regulatory specification.

Our client isn't necessarily looking for a banking background, but they do expect the person to be a Java Developer (Java 8 Ideal) with experience with Microservices and Kubernetes.

You will need to be comfortable commuting to the Sheffield office up to 3 days a week and 2 days from home. Rates depending on experience can pay between £275 - £350 per day PAYE. We will also cover the employers costs on this position for the successful consultant.
