Do you have data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Milton Keynes? Brookwood Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Data Modeller, and the contract role comes with an attractive hourly rate.

In your first few weeks in this Data Modeler role, you can expect to:

  • Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
  • Define and govern Datamodelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.

To apply for this Data Modeller role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • A degree in computer or data science technical or related experience
  • Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-centre contexts.
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Used DBT Cloud for building database objects
  • Automated RSA key pair generation and assignment via Python/Snowpark.
  • Setting up orchestration via Apache Airflow-DBT-Snowflake.
  • Data quality checks and validations, creating macros, and writing custom tests, generating documentation, and models.
  • CI/CD using GitHub/GitHub Actions.
  • Optimizing the usage of the Virtual warehouse and setting up Alerts.
