My client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with Payments Experience.

Job Description

Reporting to the Business Analysis Team Lead, you will be using your knowledge and skills to analyze business requirements of the wider CLIENT Group and of its clients - some of the largest global asset managers.

You Will:

• Provide knowledge support (theoretical and practical) across financial products as well as downstream processes associated with such products.
• Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts and elaborate additional specifications, if necessary.
• Work closely with Product Owners to enhance our Investor Services platform to support such requirements.
• Participate in backlog refinement, grooming and prioritization.
• Provide coordination between teams in Europe and clients/internal teams across the globe, mainly US, EU and Asia.
• Identify and close gaps in the acceptance and the input to the testing activities.

Qualifications
You Have:

• Exceptional understanding of financial products.
• Familiarity with market standard practices and common systems/services (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc) will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of downstream processes for such products such as confirmation, settlement, collateral management and reconciliation.
• Technical/Financial development or quantitative background to bridge gap between client requirements and developers.

What Would Make You Stand out:

• Experience in a tier 1 bank setting
• Experience with SWIFT
• Experience with SSI storage, validations using SWIFT ref etc.
• Experience with FX instruments (eg. FX Spot, FX Forward)
