Location: Worcester, Worcestershire, England Country: UK Rate: £400 per day
 

SharePoint Engineer- £400/day Inside IR35 - 6-month Contract - Worcester (Onsite) SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a talented SharePoint Engineer, who will play a vital role in designing migration plans and strategies for the seamless transition of documents, applications, and workloads to M365 tenants, adhering to industry best practices.

As the SharePoint Engineer, you will:

  • Help design migration plans and strategies to migrate documents, applications, and workloads for migration to M365 tenants aligned with existing best practices.
  • Develop SharePoint forms and workflows to replace aged InfoPath solutions.
  • Execute migration tasks using tools such as Microsoft's Data Migration Service (DMS), SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), or 3rd-party migration solutions like Sharegate.
  • Ensure data integrity during migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including end-users and third-party vendors, to coordinate migration activities and address technical challenges.
  • Conduct post-migration validation and testing to ensure that workloads function as expected.
  • Address post-migration issues and troubleshoot technical problems.

As the suitable SharePoint Engineer, you will have:

  • Specific experience with the Microsoft Cloud stack, with a specialization in SharePoint.
  • Previous migration experience using tools such as Microsoft's Data Migration Service (DMS), SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), and 3rd-party migration tool Sharegate.
  • Development of SharePoint forms and workflows (proven experience with Power Platform and PowerBi beneficial).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation and management of M365 services.
