Full Stack Developer (Permanent)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: competitive
We are recruiting for a Full Stack Developer (Primarily working on Java and can also work on Front End node.js) to join a project based in Central London that holds an active SC Clearance and can join ASAP. Applicants must also be eligible and willing to go through DV clearance.
As the Developer, you will work as part of a small but growing team, you will own the development and support of one of our customers' platforms. You'll work closely with customers to define and build solutions as well as manage the environment and day to day operations of the platform.
Location - Remote and based in Central London (M-25) with occasional travel to UK sites.
Essential Skill Criteria
- Experience in full software development life cycle of web applications and microservices
- Experience in JAVA 8 or higher (Minimum 5 years of experience).
- Deeply passionate about best-practice software design principles, you will write robust code along with a high-level of test coverage
- Experience with TDD and BDD.
- Apply best practices around design patterns and SOLID development
- Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working with Spring Boot and Dropwizard based microservices
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, GIT, Junit, Cucumber, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in the development of complex cloud-based applications using the following technologies: Javascript (Node.js), HTML, CSS, Redis, Express, Nunjucks, Postgres, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Experience working with Mocha, Sinon, Chai, Microservices
- Experience working on projects using open-source technology for developing applications and deploying in AWS cloud
- Experience working with GIT version control systems in frequent software release cycles
- Experience in implementing user authentication and authorisation in a web application utilising Keycloak.
- Experience in documenting low level design
- Experience of working within Agile SCRUM
- Experience working with Postgres database.
