Java Developer - Front Office - Rates

A leading investment bank are looking to hire a Java developer to join their Front Office rates team in London.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, quantitative analysts, and technology experts to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java, low latency, and Real Time systems
• Familiarity with Multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex software development challenges.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Leadership experience is a plus!
