Infrastructure Engineer
A boutique trading firm is looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer.
You would be responsible for;
- Addressing end user requests throuh multiple communication channels in a 3rd line escalation capacity
- Designing, installing, configuring and maintaining Servers, desktops and other IT equipment
- Troubleshooting complex issues regarding, hardware, software, network and cloud (Azure AD) infrastructure
Therefore, they are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience;
- Strong knowledge of Office365 and other cloud hosted services (Intune, Azure)
- Proven experience in hardware support (Servers, desktops, Switches/Routers)
- Proficient in Scripting and automating admin tasks using PowerShell
- Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies, preferably Hyper-V, and VDI solutions (Horizon)
This role would require travel to other locations in the UK on a fortnightly/monthly basis.
