Marketing Analyst Data Scientist (Contract/Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £350 - 415 per day + Contract
 

Marketing Analyst Data Scientist

Hybrid - £350-415p/d

My client, a well known tech firm is seeking a Data Scientist to support their marketing team on a fixed term basis until February of next year. This role is offered on a hybrid basis and will require you to work in their central London office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing and Sales teams in reaching goals by analysing customer data.
  • Aid Marketing with web analytic and custom reports.
  • Improve insights and reporting processes.
  • Measure marketing impact on customer success and future behaviour.
  • Lead data analysis projects.
  • Track usage metrics and customer trends.
  • Build models for audience analysis and competitive research.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Conduct A/B tests to enhance marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field of study including economics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years professional experience developing advanced Tableau data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • SQL and Python
  • Experience of reporting on web analytics in Adobe or other toolsd
  • Knowledge of database modelling and data warehousing principles (Snowflake preferred).
  • Experience with the digital advertising industry, the mobile app economy or related field.
  • Familiarity with automated data ingestion processes including APIs.
  • Ability to partner effectively with data science and engineering stakeholders to meet the data needs of the business, translating business needs into analytical requirements.
