Integration Developer (Permanent)

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England Country: UK Rate: £35k - 45k per year
 

I'm on the lookout for a talented Middleware/Integration Developer to join a growing tech team within a well-backed retail firm in the West Midlands. We're looking to add a key member to their development and solutions team to play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and implementing Middleware solutions that streamline communication and data exchange across the entire enterprise ecosystem.

Key details:

Salary: £35,000-45,000

Location: West Midlands hub + flexible hybrid working model (remote)

Big training budget

Skills desired/what you will learn:

- Work closely with the Business and Solutions Team to scope out work requests and development requirements

- Experience of building APIs to Open API standards (version 3.1.0)

- Experience of modern Middleware platforms such as Mulesoft, Azure Data Factory, Google Apigee/Application Integration

- Python and JavaScript

- Middleware technologies such as ActiveMQ and pub sub-queues

- Evaluate, assess, and recommend solutions that align with Middleware best practices

- Understanding of technical concepts such as caching, connection pooling, threading, transaction management, etc

- Lead integration development activities, turning vision into reality in collaboration with the Solutions Team

- Manage development implementation, ensuring work is completed on schedule and adheres to quality standards
