Lead Business Analyst - (Insurance Sector) - £90 - £100k + 25% Bonus + Benefits

JNC are working with a leading London based insurance company that are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join their Data Analytics and Change team.

The team will be working on a healthy pipeline of R&D in order to support the exploration of Data, Analytics & Pricing innovation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to focus on a portfolio of work that looks at the changing needs of the business.

Experience working within the Insurance sector with London Market experience is important.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the work associated with the portfolio of change.
  • Lead, guide and support a team of talented BA's from the Data Analytics and Change team.
  • Ensure the team is gaining the required Data Analytics domain knowledge.
  • Ensure the team is bridging the gap between the business and technology teams.
  • Translate business requirements and create clear consistent documentation.
  • Assess change proposals and create solutions.
  • Work closely with Architecture and Delivery teams on specifications and solutions.
  • Create process models to be used by testing teams.

Experience Required:

  • Experience leading a Business Analyst team is essential.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to motivate and develop a high performing team.
  • Extensive full project life cycle experience. This includes requirement gathering, delivery, testing and release as well as change management and post go live support.
  • Must have extensive project delivery methodology experience. (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid approaches)
  • Experience working with Virtual and hybrid teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to juggle varying priorities and tasks.
  • Insurance sector with London Market experience is important.
