Fully Remote (UK Based only)

Linux/DevOps Engineer required to join my client's technical and support team in order to take ownership over their global server infrastructure. This is a role where you will be able to make a real difference to their clients.

As the Linux/DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Taking leadership of global server infrastructure & the relationship with infrastructure partners
• Create, maintain & test disaster recovery plans
• Create, maintain & test infrastructure growth and security plans
• Work with our server infrastructure providers to ensure a security, high-availability platform
• Where suitable, provide support to development teams to improve the efficiency and performance of the software
• Help trace and replicate client issues and support the development team in resolving the issue
• If needed, provide support to existing customers via email, phone and support desk software

Skills Required:

• Linux
• Have some experience in managing AWS and Azure services
• Have formal experience managing LAMP stacks.
• Have, or wish to achieve certificates in AWS and Azure services (costs will be covered)
• Be self-motivated
• Be able to set and meet your own deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively while maintaining regular communication with the team and customers.
