SAP PI_PO Developer (Contract)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Country: UK Rate: Up to £600 per day
 

Role: SAP PI_PO Developer

Location: Northampton (Hybrid 2 days per week on-site)

Duration: 6 months

Day rate: £600 per day inside IR35

Role responsibilities:

  • SAP Integration Developer and Individual contributor to SAP Accounting Finance applications along with AGILE methodology.
  • Get involved in all stages of the software development life cycle, including documentation, testing and implementation support.
  • Provide L3 support for production issues.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience in SAP PI/PO (Process Integration & Orchestration).
  • Should be able to develop end to end interfaces involving - Creation of: Design Objects, Directory Objects, Mappings (Graphical and Java), Monitoring of messages, Configuring Alerts and Troubleshooting of issues if any.
  • Should have possess working knowledge of Java, to develop and troubleshoot Java mappings.
  • Hands-on knowledge of migration from SAP PI 7.5 dual stack to single stack is a plus
  • Ability to understand requirements and analyze feasibility along with estimation good communication skills to be able to interact with business and work independently
  • Should be a team player with Excellent problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Hands-on experience on SAP PI 7.5 version is preferred ABAP Knowledge to develop and edit Proxy code is a plus
  • Knowledge in Finance module preferred in depth
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, life cycle and tools such as Agile Central, Transport Expresso, Jira, etc.
