We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with managers and other developers, embracing a fast-paced environment while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with managers and fellow developers to deliver projects at pace.
• Utilize Java Back End development skills to create robust REST-based APIs using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot/Jersey.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) principles to ensure the reliability and scalability of the codebase.
• Develop and execute component-level automated tests to validate system functionality.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English-language skills for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours:

• Experience with Java Restlet framework.
• Familiarity with Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
• Proficiency in working with Maven for project management.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of federated single sign-on using SAML protocol.
• Experience in Java Back End development.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable REST-based APIs.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies.
