Business Application Manager (Contract)
Location: Spain
 

Business Application Manager - 6 months contract - Remote

Business Application Manager is responsible for steering the strategic direction of business applications and data management and development in alignment with business objectives and the Digital, Data, and Technology Strategy. To guide the roadmap for the development and migration of current applications, leading their implementation as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the projects.

  • Oversee application management and migration.
  • Act as the representative of the Application team in technology meetings.
  • Architect, build, and transition applications while adhering to established standards and group-wide governance, ensuring full alignment with customer and operational needs.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to the business regarding the operating model, and explore opportunities for its enhancement.
  • Assume accountability for nurturing and enhancing capabilities within each platform.
  • Provide recommendations for upgrading existing systems and implementing new software to preempt issues.
  • Collaborate with technology and Information Security resources as needed to ensure alignment with IT strategy, architecture, principles, and secure application deployment.
  • Effectively manage risks and issues related to the application landscape, escalating where necessary.
