Office Support Engineer (Level 2) - Gent (ONSITE) - Dutch speaking

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an Office Support Engineer (Level 2).

Job Summary: As an Office Onsite Support, you will work as Level 2 support, providing on-site and remote support to the Customer in Gent. You will be part of the End User Services, a solution-oriented support group with a high-resolution rate. You will work alongside several other support groups, including Network, Config Centre, and Service Desk, and staff an IT Kiosk/Walk-in desk, providing face-to-face 1st line troubleshooting and IT support

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, Mac, and the full Office suite.

Troubleshoot and provide hardware support on HP, Dell, and Mac workstations.

Provide onsite support for a list of the client's Applications.

Perform basic network troubleshooting, patching, and server maintenance.

Troubleshoot, coordinate, and resolve incidents together with Incident Managers and resolver teams.

Review and follow-up on incidents to improve end-to-end support.

Monitor ServiceNow-queues and Service Desk mailboxes.

Create and improve Knowledge Base articles.

Work with the Service Desk Support team and continuous service improvements.

Handle Asset Stock Management activities (computers and laptops)

Perform Staging activities and related Administrative Follow Up within Service Now

(Re-)placement Monitors, Table Kits and Desktops on End-Users Desks

Required Qualifications:

Basic network skills: Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

PC's: Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals. Good knowledge about different OS deployment solutions.

Mac: Good knowledge of Mac Set up and OS. Currently running High Sierra.

Tools: Hand on experience on Incident Reporting/ITSM tools like Service Now.

Driver's license: B-license.

Native/fluent Dutch speaking skills

Meriting Qualifications:

Active Directory: Knowledge of how to analyse accounts and basic GPO knowledge.

Microsoft Entra ID: Knowledge of how to analyze accounts, privileges, groups,

Client OS: Experience from Windows 10, Windows & 11 (all versions).

MaciOS: Experience with the latest Mac IOS, both standard setup and with Windows stability.

Server OS: Experience from Windows Server systems, OpenVMS systems is qualifying.

Service Desk: 1-2 years of experience from IT Service Desk is meriting.

ITIL: Basic understanding of ITIL processes.

Basic knowledge Power Automate and

Knowledge and experience from the automotive industry and/or industrial equipment is an added advantage

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Dutch (native/fluent) and English.

Humble approach towards both duties at hand and colleagues.

Good troubleshooting skills.

Can perform under stressful situations.

Strong coordination skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
