Education and certifications:
- Higher education in Computer Science, electronics, telecommunications or relevant subject
- 2 years' experience managing tools such as a Cisco Data Centre
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP Data Networks (including CWDM, QOS)
- Expertise in network security
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP Voice Networks (including QOS, POE)
- Structural cabling including fiber optics
- ITIL (change management, incident management, configuration management, availability management)
- Excellent knowledge of administration of Ethernet switching and routing systems in large networks (1000 nodes) on UTP and fibre optic cabling
- Excellent knowledge of network management, monitoring and debugging tools and Performance monitoring
- Very good knowledge of CISCO & Nexus application Switches
- Very good knowledge of F5 Application delivery controller, load balancing
- Good knowledge of administration of Fortinet Firewall systems, content inspection, Firewall statistics and related security tools.
- Good knowledge of administration of CISCO Firewall systems, content inspection, Firewall statistics and related security tools.
- Good knowledge of SSL offload devices; (SSL acceleration, SSL VPN solutions) and High-grade encryption
- Very good knowledge of DHCP/DNS Infoblox, Trinzic 825 w/Network Services One and Grid
- Good knowledge of UTP and fibre cabling systems
- Good knowledge of dial-in systems with authentication and encryption
- Experience in disaster recovery management at network level.
